Is Live Entertainment for Corporate Events still a thing in 2026?

People ask me all the time if live entertainment is still appropriate and special for corporate audiences in 2026. In this age of technology and wonder will audiences still be engaged by a human speaker/entertainer? As a professional magician, comedian and speaker I can honestly say the answer is a resounding…YES! In fact in my 25+ years of performing I have never found a time where people want and need fun, clean live entertainment.
Why?
I think it breaks down to three main reasons:
- The more detached we get with phones, computers and tablets the more we hunger for real, tangible human interaction. In my show I combine amazing magic routines with clean comedy and audience interaction designed to get your group laughing, applauding and connecting with each other. By the end of the show they are energized, excited and happy in a way that just can’t be duplicated by an electronic presentation.
- People’s lives are stressful; perhaps the most stressful they have been in any other age. They desperately need something to talk their minds off of deadlines, commitments, and personal tragedies. A fun, clean presentation by a professional human entertainer is just the ticket. I have had so many people come up to me after the show and thank me for making them forget about their troubles for a while. Great live magical entertainment is cathartic!
- Many employees now work remotely or even in other cities or countries. I can’t tell you how many events I work where people tell me they’ve never met anyone else at their own company! It’s important for a company to thrive to have its employees and management team get together to meet and interact. They must for connections in order for the group as a whole to succeed. In my act I’m constantly introducing people to each other and providing a vehicle for employees to connect to each other in a wholesome, fun and memorable way!
